Helping a large government supplier to understand the expectations and day to day experiences of visa applicants in the UK.

As the world becomes smaller and more accessible, central governments everywhere are changing how they monitor, maintain and benefit from immigration. For many countries, this has meant transforming how citizens apply for, and receive the visas required to live, work and enjoy life in countries other than their own.

Working in collaboration with one of Europe’s largest technology companies and government service providers, Polar Insight was commissioned to understand the experience, perceptions and satisfaction levels of UK visa applicants.

Speaking to over 500 applicants across the UK through surveys, focus groups and research films, the research conducted gave our client a bank of valuable evidence and insight upon which to design a user-centred national service that currently serves hundreds of thousands of applicants per year.
